My pet peeve? – Alcohol.
I don’t like new year’s celebrations. - ‘Typically’ it’s for everybody to go-out and get drunk.
Alcohol is a depressive. – Is that any way to start-off a new year!?
What if an alcoholic wants to make a new years resolution to stop drinking?
When I was 16 years old, I went to a new years eve party.
‘I drank’ and became unaware of what I was doing …woke-up the next day in somebody else’s house …with no idea of how I got there, and of who the man and wife occupants of the house were …and with my car parked all askew on their front lawn.
I thought I was sober by now …so I got in my car to drive home.
The next thing that I knew was that I was awakened by the jolt of backing my car into the ditch adjacent to the driveway of my home. - I had driven 11 miles, completely unaware of what I had been doing.
This scared me a lot! – I could have ended up killing myself, or someone else driving on the road!
It taught me a good lesson about the treachery of alcohol.
To hell with alcohol!
HAPPY SOBER NEW YEAR 'EVERYBODY'!
