I had a hunky-dory day!
I made a special trip out, by train and bus, to get Bert (my fishie) some water filters!

My day has been ok.
The electricity was cut-off from 9am to 3:30pm, due to repairs. - I didn't have to go out, so it left me at loose ends once in a while.
'No electricity' had me realizing just how much I depend on TV and Internet for my entertainment. - But, the lack of electricity, 'did' provide me with some very refreshing lucid moments.
The water circulation in Bert's aquarium became still ...and so did Bert.
It seems he is also affected by no electricity.
I swished a stick around in his water, which livened him up.
I couldn't do any cooking - so before the electricity went out - I had an omelet.
I stayed out of the fridge as much as possible.
I had my breakfast cereal at 12 noon.

WELL! ...'TODAY' I'M ALL EXCITED!!!
THERE'S GOING TO BE A *MARATHON* OF "WONDER YEARS" ON TV!!!

...IT WILL START AT 10:30 THIS MORNING!!! ...AND GO-ON FOR THE WHOLE DAY!!!!

I GOT ALL MY HOUSEWORK DONE "ALREADY"!!! ...AND 'NOW' I'M READY!!!

My day is being as it is.
I swept and washed the floor.
I did the laundry.
I cleaned out Bert & Ernie's aquarium.
I cleaned under the refrigerator.
And I'm about to sew-up the hem on a skirt.

A very satisfying day so far.

My day is going ok, I guess. - But I’m feeling a bit chilled.
I just had a shower, and the temperature is 78 degrees fahrenheit in my home.
Well. I’m not too pleased with that.
I like it to be 80 degrees Fahrenheit after a shower.
So I put my bread toaster on, to make things a bit warmer.
But my bread toaster isn’t very good for that, because it keeps popping up.
So I put on my woolly pajamas, and my woolly house coat, and my wooly socks.
So I should be feeling better soon.
